MEET Orie Milton

In June 1971 my wife and I honeymooned in Door County, and we fell in love with it.  Over thenext 22 years we spent many, many days vacationing and relaxing in the "Cape Cod of the Midwest."  Finally in 1990 we became property owners and in 1993 made the move to become year around residents.  SInce then I have learned, and continue to learn, a great deal about like in Door COunty.  I have worked as a resort manager, part owner of Door County Magazine, sales manager at Horseshoe Bay Golf Club and a licensed Real Estate agent.  These experiences along with over 45 years developing relationships with business owners and individuals have given me a unique knowledge of the real estate market in the county.

From a historical perspective, I received my undergraduate degree from the University of WIsconsin in 1972 in Secondary Education and then spent 9 years as an English teacher at Fox Vally Technical College in Appleton, WI.  I left teaching in 1982 to obtain a Masters Degree in Business from - Where else?- the University of Wisconsin and began a 13 year career in Human Resouce Management, leaving this career path in 1993 to move to Door County.  In 1997 I joined Bob Hastings as co-owner of Door County Magazine and started my sales, marketing and publishing career.  Shortly after the sale of the magazine in 2001, I became the Sales and Marketing Director at Horseshoe Bay Golf Club and in 2006 odbtained my Real Estate Sales Associatde license.  This endeavor gave me to opportunity to assist Horseshoe Bay Farms Realty with sales.  Little did I know this move would lead to a full time occupation.

Since 2008 I have been pleased to be a member of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group's team in Egg Harbor, and I look forward to continue helping current and future Door County residents achieve their real estate goals.....and dreams.
